Short Day with Swim

Short Day Ride including Swim in the river with your horse –  from 9am to 3pm

During the summer months.  For all levels of riders who would like to enjoy the whole experience of a day with the horses. 

At 9h we gather together and then go to collect your horse from the field.  You then help in brushing and preparing your horse for the day.  Around 10h you set off of on the ride with our qualified guides through the countryside around the Tech River.  At 12h we arrive at our shady picnic spot under the trees by the river at a place where you can take the horses for a swim in the river.  After the swim the horses rest and dry, while you picnic and siesta.  Then it’s time to saddle up again and enjoy the ride back to the ranch for 15h.

For this ride we recommend that you wear long trousers and closed shoes and you will need to bring your picnic, swimming costume and a towel which you carry in the saddle bags supplied.
